Tillo International is proud to announce our first PWA professional windsurfer Diony Guadagnino for the 2022 season. Diony will bring a unique world class pedigree to the brand. Diony will work alongside Alex Morales (Tillo) in developing the next generation of Tillo products while representing Tillo boards at select event this upcoming season. Diony has a history competing in big events and finishing at the top at many prestigious world class competitions and has also won PWA grand slam events, not to mention his radical big wave riding at Peahi, Jaws in Hawaii.

Tillo custom and production foil boards are already the go to boards in the competitive racing fleets in the USA. Diony will now introduce the boards to the rest of the world!

Diony has spent the last 21 years traveling the world and competing professionally in all disciplines, Slalom, freestyle, wave, course racing and Foiling, His true windsurfing addiction started in Playa El Yaque, Isla Margarita, Venezuela where his mother eventually settled at the age of 8. Sailing and competing in one of the most fertile windsurfing environments is what fueled the passion and dedication to become what he is today. With Diony’s amazing vibes and humbling personality together with his explosive style on the water and a incredible ambassador for the sport Diony’s makes the perfect match for the Tillo International family!  Welcome Diony V69!

Formula windsurfing offers a great and stable racing platform. In the last 18 years many new shapes and design have been put to the test, some very successful in certain specific wind and water conditions, but not always up to the challenge of a sudden change.

Tillo International’s FORMULA F   ( FOIL READY )  is our most versatile Formula shape of all time. The concept has taken five years to complete and the board has proven to be the most efficient and easy board to sail in all conditions — from flat waters to choppy open seas.

The design keeps the board at a maximum 84 cm wide on one foot of the tail to control the board in strong wind conditions (while otherwise become extremely physical) and continue with a single concave at the last part of the board, creating more power, as well as tracking and rotation under the foot. Windfoil COMPETITION is a dedicated windsurf hydrofoil board.
After many years of development we found that Windfoil COMPETITION have all the perfect attributes for windsurfing hydrofoil ..
First thing was to find an outline that is powerful / compact / fast and forgiving. reducing wind resistance at the entry while have a super forgiving bottom shape that allows easy rebound when touch down.. while maintain a compact shape that feels responsive and creates more acceleration was key.

No cutout concept : after timing endless time we found that we the new foil systems that becoming more powerful there is no much need for cutouts for early planning.. as we measure as of today our current windfoil COMPETITION takes around 6 seconds to get on full foil mode .. without the cut outs.
